Man headbutted on bus between Truro and Penzance

An appeal has gone out after a man was headbutted on a bus travelling between Truro and Penzance.

Police say the victim, in his 20s, was targeted by two other men on the top deck.

The assault happened one Saturday evening in March and both the suspects boarded the bus at Truro train station.

Officers are now urging anyone with information to come forward.

"Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted on a bus travelling from Truro to Penzance.

"The victim, aged in his 20s, was targeted by two males and headbutted while on the top deck of the TR1 service at around 8.30pm on Saturday 21 March.

"Both suspects boarded the bus at Truro Railway Station. "

Police are urging witnesses, or anyone with information, to call 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting crime reference number CR/024457/20.
