Dinosaurs spreading joy around Truro amid lockdown

Meet the dinosaurs who are spreading joy around Truro during the coronavirus lockdown.

Two local teenage brothers have decided to use their daily exercise time to try and put smiles on people's faces, by dressing up in T-Rex costumes.

The T-Rex can often be spotted dancing in the streets, getting up to antics and clapping for key workers.

They have been seen doing push-ups with their tiny arms, waving at lorries, sitting in cars and even having a dance off!

You can keep up to date with what they're up to via their Spot The Rex account on Twitter.

"We thought we'd use our exercise time to cheer people up.

"The T-Rex like to clap and wave at key workers.

"We have visited a dinosaur fan who is on 12 week isolation, we have fulfilled various video requests, had dino dance offs with numerous children and performed several birthday stomp pasts.

"We hope to continue making people smile through this difficult time for as long as we are allowed to exercise.

"The response from people has been amazing. We love making them smile."
