Woman kicked in the head in Truro attack

A woman has been kicked in the head during an attack in broad daylight in Truro.

Police say the 27-year-old was targeted in the Garras Wharf car park, near to the subway, at around 6pm on Thursday evening.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises to her face during the assault.

The offenders are believed to be woman and anyone with information is being urged to contact officers.

"Police are appealing for information after a 27-year-old woman was attacked in Truro on Thursday evening, 23rd April.

"At approximately 6pm the woman was approached by a small group of people and assaulted in the Garras Wharf car park, near to the subway.

"She was kicked in the head and suffered cuts and bruises to her face in the attack. The offenders are believed to have been women."
