Falmouth murder investigation: One man in custody

An arrest has been made after the death of a young man in Falmouth.

Police were called to a property on Tresawle Road just after midnight on Tuesday.

A 25-year-old was found at the scene and had suffered serious injuries, sadly he could not be saved.

Now a 24-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

Anyone with any information' is being urged to contact officers.

"Police have made an arrest in connection with the death of a man in Falmouth.

"Police were called to a residential address on Tresawle Road shortly after midnight yesterday morning, Tuesday 5th May.

"Upon arrival, a 25-year-old man was found to have sustained serious injuries and, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

"A 24-year-old man from Falmouth has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody."
