Falmouth murder investigation: Two men charged

Two men have been charged with murder after the death of a man in Falmouth.

Police were called to a property in Tresawle Road shortly after midnight on Tuesday 5th May, following reports of concern for the welfare of a 25-year-old man.

Aaron Pill was found at the scene with serious injuries but could not be saved.

Two local men have now been charged in connection to the death and have been remanded in custody.

They are due to appear before Bodmin Magistrates Court on Saturday.

A 50-year-old woman from Falmouth, who was previously arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, has been released under investigation

"Police have charged two men with the murder of 25-year-old Aaron Pill from Falmouth on Tuesday 5th May.

"Kane Coggin, aged 27, of Meadowbank, Falmouth and Liam Bastow, aged 24, of Avalon Close, Falmouth have both been charged with murder.

"They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Bodmin Magistrates Court today [Saturday 9 May]

"A 50-year-old woman from Falmouth was previously arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, she has been released under investigation pending further enquiries."
