Woman dies at caravan park in north Cornwall

A woman has died at a caravan park on the north coast of Cornwall.

Emergency services were called to Ocean Cove in Tintagel amid concerns for a woman's welfare.

A woman in her 50s was found at the scene just before 10pm on Saturday night but sadly she could not be saved.

Police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious and the woman's family has been told.

A file will now be prepared for the coroner.

"Police were called shortly before 10pm on Saturday 9th May to Ocean Cove Caravan Park, Tintagel following reports of concern for the welfare of a woman.

"Emergency services attended the scene but the woman, in her 50s, was sadly confirmed deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
