Two people involved in a crash on the A338 have died

Two people have died following a collision on the A338 on Wednesday June 3rd.

A Callington woman in her 60's and a man also in his 60's from the Liskeard, travelling in the minibus, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other people also travelling in the minibus sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the lorry, a man in his 60s from the St Austell area wasn't injured. He will be attending an interview with police voluntarily in due course.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene just after they were called at 10am.
