Paramedics treat female involved in a collision on the A30 near Redruth

Emergency services are at the scene of a collision involving one vehicle on the A30 near Redruth.

It is thought a medical episode caused the incident just before 5pm on Tuesday July 7th.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene at Scorrier and say a woman suffered minor injuries.

"Police were called at around 4.40pm with a report of a single vehicle RTC on the A30 eastbound carriageway at Scorrier, Redruth.

"A female occupant is in the care of ambulance paramedics.  Injuries appear minor at this stage.

"One lane closed and the incident is ongoing."
