Three men charged after Black Lives Matter protest in Truro

Police have charged three people with public order offences in connection to incidents at a Black Lives Matter Protests in Truro.

Officers initially arrested five people after the event on the 15th June.

A 19-year-old man from St Austell and a 58-year-old woman from Falmouth were arrested on suspicion of affray and have since been released with no further action being taken.

Three men, a 35-year-old from Falmouth, a 23-year-old from Falmouth and a 31-year-old from Truro, have all been charged with public order offences.

They are due to appear at Bodmin Magistrates Court on Thursday 3rd September.
