Caravan fire near Redruth is being treated as arson

A caravan fire in the St Day area of Redruth is believed to have been started on purpose.

Firefighters were called out to the blaze at around 2.41am on Friday July 10.

"One appliance from Tolvaddon attended this incident, on arrival the crew found the caravan well alight.

"The fire was extinguished using a high pressure hosereel. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed."
