Cornwall has been ranked number one in a list of top ten UK staycation destinations.

With air-bridges not in place at some popular resorts abroad, there has been a surge in people looking for a staycation during the summer holiday following the Prime Minister’s statement.

Last month, Boris Johnson announced people would be allowed to stay in overnight accommodation, including hotels and B&B’s.

Data compiled by My Late Deals reveals Cornwall is the most popular UK Destination for a ‘stay-cation’.

Of the 1,500 people surveyed, St Ives was the most popular Cornish holiday destination, followed by Padstow, Newquay and the Isles of Scilly.
