Drugs seized and arrests made in St Austell

Drugs have been seized and a series of arrests have been made after police patrols around St Austell.

Officers say they also located stolen goods on Wednesday.

An arrest was also made for possession with the intent to supply in the town.

It follows concerns from locals about antisocial behaviour and drug abuse in the area and people are being urged to report any cases.

"Officers on patrol in the town yesterday were able to make three arrests along with drug seizures and the location of stolen goods.

"Later on in the day another arrest was made for possession with intent to supply in St Austell.
