Drive and Dine cinema is coming to north Cornwall

Movies with food events will be staged in north-Cornwall this summer thanks to Michelin star chef Paul Ainsworth.

The socially distanced experience takes place throughout the month of August at The Royal Cornwall County Showground in Wadebridge.

The venue will play host to a revival of the classic drive-in cinema screening with what's been described as 'an impressive selection of award winning blockbusters'.

From the comfort and safety of a car cinema goers will also be able to sample the delicious delights from a menu carefully created by Paul Ainsworth.

“I am buzzing to be bringing an event like this to Cornwall. It’s been a lot of fun creating this menu, taking some of these classic ‘at the movie’ dishes, adding bags of flavour, a little magic and lots of love.

"That’s the key to what we do.  It has been a challenging start to the year and I know that Drive & Dine will bring some fun to those living or holidaying in Cornwall.

"Everyone loves a movie so come along and enjoy one of your favourites in an amazing (and safe) setting with some great food. We can’t wait to see you!”

Paul Ainsworth
