999 appeal to find man wanted on recall to prison

Devon and Cornwall Police have issued an urgent appeal to try and find a man who is wanted on recall to prison.

David Hill, who was originally convicted for breaching a restrainer order, left his bail hostel in Camborne on Friday.

The 31-yer-old has since seen spotted in Barnstaple and has links to the north Devon area.

Anyone who sees him is being urged to call 999 straight away and report any sightings.

"Police are appealing for information to locate 31-year-old David Hill who is wanted on recall to prison.

"Hill, who was originally convicted for breaching a restraining order, left his bail hostel in Camborne on Friday 24 July.

"He has since been seen in Barnstaple. He has family links in the North Devon town as well as in the Paignton area.

"Numerous enquiries have been made by police to locate and arrest him.

"Officers are now appealing to the public to report any sightings of Hill."

Anyone who sees him, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact police on 999, quoting log number 34 of 24/07/20.
