A number of vehicles have gone up in flames near Green Lane in St Erth.

When fire crews from St Ives arrived at around 1.46am on Wednesday July 29 two caravans and eight cars were well alight

Shortly afterwards when firefighters from Tolvaddon arrived at the scene, the blaze had spread to a shed and wasteland.

It was eventually put out at 3.45am.  An investigation has confirmed the fire was started accidentally.
