Fewer teenagers are getting pregnant in Cornwall.

Latest stats show numbers are down 16% in the Duchy, in a year.

We are well below the national average too.

Camborne mum of two Natalie, first fell pregnant when she was 18: "I think it's a good thing. It's better to have them a little bit older and get a job first. It's probably more difficult being younger because I didn't have a job, it's not long after I finished school and I'd got no money".

A scheme offering free contraception to youngster is being expanded.

Duchy lead Sharon Hindley says, "We are supporting parents to actually skill them up to actually be able to speak to their children about sex and relationships and education. That's the real, you know, a big factor because a lot of parents may not have had FRE at school as well".
