If you are doing your Christmas shopping online, here is the internet cash con waiting to happen in Cornwall.

A PayPal survey says half of us in the Duchy use the same web password for everything.

A third do not check the site is secure.

Redruth dad Chris Bonner lost fifty pounds after his iTunes account was hacked through an old email. He said, "I had some emails from iTunes saying thank you for your recent purchase. They had actually refused one for £150 luckily. But the other two were for £20 and £35. I couldn't believe it happened because I do check my statements regularly, but I had obviously just missed them."
