The latest weapon in the fight against boozy trouble in Cornwall this Christmas is a crying brain.

Police are releasing two videos about a bloke's thoughtless night out.

He ends up with a criminal record after smashing a window and hitting a mate.

Sergeant Richard Crosby is hoping it stops youngsters binge-drinking over the festive period:

"If you're a lady who's been out drinking, and has had too much to drink, and is getting drunk, you might think that you look beautiful and you're the bees knees, but in fact the vomit that's dripping off the front of your dress is not alluring."

"The implications for people who get into trouble, whether it be criminally, whether they've been fighting or whether they've been drink driving. Whether in fact they put themselves at risk by too much drinking so they are rendered incapable and people can take advantage of them, it's simply not worth it."

You can watch the videos yourself below.
