PM's Car Dash for Cornish Girl

Published by the Pirate FM News Team at 7:01am 16th December 2011.

A Penzance schoolgirl has been rushed to hospital in the Prime Minister's car - after falling ill at 10 Downing Street.

Five year old Savannah Nicholls has battled leukemia, cerebral palsy and epilepsy since she was born.

She was at a charity reception to meet David Cameron and children's TV hero Mr Tumble.

Aides leapt into action and showed her family into a sideroom, which turned out to be the cabinet room.

They joked that her dad was sitting in the chair used by Winston Churchill.

Little Savannah is now back in Cornwall, recovering at Treliske.

Her family are hoping she will be back at home with them in a few days.
