30 new foster carers will be needed in Cornwall next year.

It is as the number of children looking for new homes in the Duchy rises.

The Fostering Network says it is increasing every year.

Spokesperson Helen Clarke says, "Phone up and the fostering service will arrange for you to meet with foster carers, meet with the team, come out and visit you. Then it's a quite thorough assessment process lasting six to eight months, and you get training that really should help you prepare for that first time that a child or children come to live with you".
