Forty-four children were arrested in Devon and Cornwall last year for drug offences.

Statistics from the police show the youngest was just eleven. They were picked up for possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Experts warn some risk damaging their future health and wellbeing.

St Austell counsellor Jaki Bedingham has seen a big jump in referrals. She said, "I really do believe education has got to start from when they're walking and talking and they're in nursery or primary school. It's too late by the time they're in secondary school because they've already been exposed to it."
