NHS Dental Promise
7:01am 7th January 2012
'Everyone on the waiting list should have an NHS dentist in the next 6 - 9 months'.
The promise from health bosses in West Cornwall after Pirate FM told you almost 2000 are on it in Penzance alone.
Campaigners say there is too much focus on emergency care.
Julia Cory speaks for the Primary Care Trust and says, "We are extremely committed as a Primary Care Trust to improving access to NHS dentistry in the far west of the county. We've reduced the waiting list from round about four thousand people initially to currently just over one thousand eight hundred and that waiting list is currently decreasing".
