It is claimed lives are being put in danger on the south west's roads because of work pressure.

A study shows one in ten drivers speed to get to an appointment on time or do not use a hands free kit for calls.

A sixth admit setting off knowing their car is not safe because of things like slow punctures or cracked windscreens

It drives these people in Helston mad:

"I'm worried about it around schools. Parents tend to be focused so much on getting to work. It's not an intentional thing but I think something needs to be done about that"

"They don't think about anybody else on the road really, it's just me, myself and I isn't it"

"People just pull out now and there's no indication at all, and it's really irritating"
