Argyle Hope for Relegation Safety
7:01am 14th April 2012
Plymouth Argyle could officially avoid the drop later.
They need to get a win on Saturday afternoon - and hope for other results to go their way.
But they are playing promotion chasing Swindon, who need a win to clinch their own promotion.
Carl Fletcher’s men are now eight points clear of the npower League 2 drop zone with only 12 points left to play for. In fact, a win for Argyle at Swindon, coupled with defeat for both Hereford and Macclesfield, would be enough to mathematically sure the Pilgrims’ Football League status for another season.
Meanwhile, Swindon are looking the other way and a win for them and defeat for Crawley would see them promoted to npower League 1.
Fletch is hoping to welcome back goalkeeper Jake Cole who missed Easter Monday’s 1-0 win over Aldershot with a groin injury.7:01am 14th April 2012
