The clean-up after the storms in Cornwall.

Crews were scrambled to flooded homes in Penzance last night, as gales and heavy rain battered the Duchy.

In Falmouth, police say parts of buildings were crumbling.

Watch the moment metre high waves hit Newquay.



Flood alerts are in place for rivers in West Cornwall and the upper Tamar with more heavy rain and strong winds set to hit Cornwall tonight.
