Cornish youngsters are being told "Stay Safe Stay Out of Quarries".

Campaigners have made a new YouTube video about the dangers of going into sites without permission.

It is after four teenage boys died in accidents up country in 2009.

Duchy College Outdoor Activities Instructor Jonathan Burfoot takes students climbing and canoeing at quarries in south east Cornwall, and says safety is key.

"I think actually it's really important that people are allowed access to these areas. I think it's important for children to learn how to manage risk and be able to operate in those sort of outdoor environments.

"I think just being aware of the inherent risk those areas expose, metal spikes under the water, just being aware that actually they're not tied up in cotton wool as so much of our normal every day living is."
