Armed Police on Village Streets

Armed police have been scrambled to a Cornish village after reports of air rifles on the streets.

It follows a 999 call from Caharrack near Redruth yesterday lunchtime.

Police say specially trained firearms units were on the scene half an hour later.

Three men have been arrested.
