Pirate FM has learnt 13 thousand Cornish jobs have been protected by scrapping the pasty tax.

The new figures come after the government backed down on adding another 20%

St Austell and Newquay MP Stephen Gilbert led the campaign: "It will protect jobs in Cornwall, it will protect the Cornish high street and high streets across the country and it will ensure that Cornwall which is already a disadvantage part of the United Kingdom, is not further disadvantaged".
