Newquay Hotel Fire

It has been confirmed that no-one was hurt after a huge fire at a derelict hotel in Newquay.

There were fears squatters could have been inside the old Riviera on Lusty Glaze Road.

Crews from Newquay, St Columb, Perranporth, St Dennis, Truro, Padstow, Wadebridge, Redruth, an aerial ladder platform and the incident command unit from Launceston were all called to battle the blaze in the early hours of Saturday morning.
