Former Teacher Jailed Over Sexual Abuse

A former teacher from St Austell who sexually abused a young girl for years has been jailed.

Truro Crown Court heard how Philip Hadley groomed the twelve year old in the nineties, after she developed a crush on him.

The 49 year old from Roslyn Close will serve three years.

He has also been placed on the sex offenders register for life.
