4G could be coming to Cornwall as soon as next month.

Orange and T-Mobile have got the go-ahead to roll-out faster internet speeds across the UK, after a trial near Newquay.

Howard Farmer runs holiday cottages at St Newlyn East and says it made a big difference:

“What I would like to do is run bits of video on the website, which we can’t do at the moment. It puts us on a par with everyone else. The countryside of Cornwall is equal to a city, everything can go on”

“The last few months my son has been working for a website and he had a terrible time trying to access fast enough web speeds to do the job. With 4G it would be as simple as living anywhere else in the country”
