A man who pleaded guilty to holding up a Cornish petrol station with a fake gun has been put behind bars.

Truro Crown Court heard how Adam Peters threatened staff at the Shell garage at Fraddon last month.

When they refused to open the till, the 23 year old from Plymouth swiped a handful of scratch cards.

A judge has sentenced him to four years in prison.
