'Brown Willy' Name Change
2:42pm 5th November 2012
There are calls to change the name of Cornwall's highest peak.
Experts say Brown Willy on Bodmin Moor should go back to Bronn Wenelli, which means hill of swallows.
Chris Hines speaks for positive change group 'A Grain of Sand.'
He said the area is steeped in history: "There's even a granite stone erected on the edge of Bodmin Moor at Rough Tor, a memorial by public subscription to the murder of a lady up there who, I think was a jilted lover and she was murdered in 1844 and that is still there, so it's part of our history.
"We focus our tourism around the honey pots on the coast. The area around Bronn Wenelli, even when you're up on the top, you can't see the A30, which is great. It's kind of wild, the sound of the wind blowing through the grass and around the granite outcrops, it's beautiful."
