Newquay Fight Ends in Arrests

Eight men have been arrested and bailed after a massive fight in Newquay.

Police tell us several people were assaulted after a party in a shipping container was gatecrashed.

It happened at the Treloggan Industrial Estate in the early hours of yesterday and involved police from Bodmin to Camborne.
 
The men, aged between 20 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

One was taken to Treliske Hospital for treatment to minor injuries sustained in the assault.
 
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting crime reference GN/12/2517
