There has been another landslide in Looe.

It is after last week’s torrential rain.

Part of the road, just metres from homes on Elm Tree Road, has fallen away.

The council says it is a private road but it has been checking things out and contacting the land owners.

There has already been a landslide at Sandplace Road thanks to the downpours.

Highway engineers have been investigating it and surface cracking further uphill along to assess the extent of the damage before starting remedial works.
