Cornish police do it Gangnam Style.

Officers in Falmouth have been strutting their stuff in their own version of the chart hit.

It has been filmed around the town to raise money for charity,  after Sergeant Gary Watts promised to do the dance on YouTube if he got a thousand new followers on Twitter: "After about a day and a half I realised that I might actually have to do this because the numbers were going up and after three days I got the the actual thousand"

Now the money will help one kit out the home of a disabled lad who follows him.

Sergeant Watts said: "Josh was diagnosed with his first brain tumour in 2004 aged 3 and following complex surgery due to the location of the tumour on the brain stem, was left with complex physical disabilities needs.

"Joshua, now 12, has severe neuromuscular disabilities that require a fully adapted home and his family needs to raise £25,000 to cover a ceiling track hoist, a special medical bath, building work and other basic equipment.

"Joshua's parents share his care - due to DLA funding restrictions Joshua isn't entitled to two fully adapted homes so they need to privately raise funds for all his needs."

Sergeant Watts continued: "Hopefully it'll put you in a good enough mood to put your hand in your pocket and donate a couple of pounds to help make Josh's life better."

On Tuesday afternoon, the video had clocked up more than 50'000 hits on You Tube and raised around £3000 for charity.
