A teenager from St Austell has pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving, after his mum was crushed by a car.

Truro Crown Court heard how Lewis Foster was under the influence of alcohol, had no insurance and was driving 'otherwise in accordance' with his licence when he reversed into Deborah Jones, trapping her against a fence.

A judge called it a "tragic case."

The 19 year old will be sentenced on Monday.
