Redruth welcome Lydney on Saturday with one eye on promotion.

The Reds are second in National League Two after victory over Barking.

We beat the visitors the last time the sides met.

Coach Ashley Morcom says that means nothing: "Lydney are renowned for being quite an abrasive side. They don't pull any punches, it's the way they play their rugby and it's the way they've always played their rugby. We know that, so we've built round our training session this week and we're ready to meet that head on.

"In a playing sense a lot of sides always play a lot better against the top three sides. They always seem to manage to up their game. What we've got to make sure we do for the rest of the season is to play to the best of our ability and if we can do that there's no reason why we can't stay in the same position that we are in now."

Elsewhere, the Cornish All Blacks face a south west derby.

Launceston are away to Taunton after beating Clifton last weekend.

Head Coach Cliff Rainsford says the Titans will be looking for revenge after we beat them in October: "They're pretty good and a few of the guys up there are ex-Launceston players so they're not going to be a push over. They're a good side and they're going to be well drilled.

"All teams, especially when you play at home, you don't want to lose at home, so they'll be out to give us a good game. But, as long as we stick to our game plan and we play our game it'll be a good game and we should be alright.
