Calls For Landslip Checks In Looe

There are calls to check all of Looe for landslips after a woman lost her life.
Susan Norman died when earth and mud slammed into her flat on Sandplace Road.
Now locals want the council to publish a full structural survey of the town, along with plans to put right any problems.
Kay Lundy runs a B&B in Looe. She said: "This could have all been avoided had action been taken alot sooner, but we haven't had alot of notice taken of us unfortunately.
"Please listen to the residents who know best. We know what happens here.
"We knew there was far too much water coming down. We've been saying all along, but no notice is ever taken."
