Man Attacked In Truro After Asking Teenager Not To Spit

A Probus man has been punched to the ground at Truro bus station after asking a teenager not to spit.

The victim in his late forties was hit in the face at around 4.45 on Thursday afternoon.

Police are continuing their investigation, but the man is not seriously injured.

Officers are appealing to any members of the public who may have witnessed the attack to come forward.

The eighteen year old offender was in a group with two other males and two females when it happened.  

He is described as being a white man, blonde swept hair, average build and well spoken with light clothing.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police on 101, quoting the crime reference GT/13/677.
