Young Knife Culture
10:45am 17th May 2013
Cornwall and Devon's youth knife culture is being revealed.
Pirate FM has learnt that almost a quarter of young people know someone who carries a blade.
According to SOS Global, one in seven youngsters they work with in their education workshops said they had carried a knife themselves.
Spokeswoman Dawn Dines said: "It's actually illegal to carry a knife in a public place and the young people, when we've done video diary evidence with them, they've come back and said to us they never realised how dangerous it was to carry a knife and that obviously by carrying one, you do have the intention of using it."
