Charges have been brought over an armed robbery in Newquay.

A 20 year old local man appeared before magistrates in Bodmin on Friday after Linden Stores was targeted last week.

He will stand trial later this month, accused of robbery and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.

A 21 year old man has been released without charge.
