A man has been grabbed by the throat and left unconscious in Torpoint.

The twenty year old was targeted at the Harbour Lights nightclub.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw something the Saturday before last.

It is not clear why they have waited almost two weeks to tell people the attack took place.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid thirties, of large build and was wearing a grey jumper and jeans.

PC Lugger said: “The club was busy at the time of the incident and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened.”

Anyone with information that could assist with the investigation is asked to call PC Lugger on 101 quoting reference BT/13/354.
