VIDEO: Dermot Returns To The X Factor

Dermot O'Leary is returning to host this year's X Factor.

Simon Cowell asked Dermot back to present the show and the television host said he was "very flattered to be asked back".

O'Leary says he is "currently dusting off my dancing shoes" - which means there's a high chance his popular moves may be making an appearance once again.

The host left X Factor after eight years with Olly Murs and Caroline Flack taking his place. The pair however left the show after one series.

Last year's show was struggling with maintaining viewers, continuously being out shined by BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

Murs also apologised to X Factor fans after he mistakenly told viewers that Monica Michael would be leaving the show, before the official announcement was made.

The show will be returning this autumn, and we hope Dermot will impress us with his dancing moves...
