Tom Hanks and Ellen DeGeneres have made dreams come true for millions.

The actor appeared on the American talk show, 'Ellen', and the pair had a ‘Pixar Off’.

Tom Hanks is the voice of Toy Story’s Woody and Ellen plays Dory in the hit films Finding Nemo and recent follow-up, Finding Dory.

It is announced on the show that a Toy Story 4 will be making our way to our screens in the future.

Meanwhile, the sequence to Finding Nemo - ‘Finding Dory’ featuring a fish who suffers from memory loss is now in cinemas.

Hanks suggests the pair have a Pixar Off on the show, with an improvised scene with these iconic characters.

He says: “Close your eyes and now imagine you're in Pixar land.”

One viewer writes: “That would be everything if they made a Pixar short story or a movie with Dory and Woody.”
