X Factor has created mayhem on social media after claims “little Simon” had accidentally appeared.

David Walliams posted a screen grab of the weekend's show where the show's boss is sat crossed legged, with his big toe poking out.

Of course, funnyman Walliams couldn’t leave it there… and insinuated that his toe placement was an unfortunate slip up on Simon's part.

It happened during the Judges’ Houses stage in Malibu, where Simon was joined by Spice Girls Mel B and Emma Bunton.

The photo has been retweeted more than 1,300 times with 3,600 likes.

It certainly tickled X Factor fans on the social media site.

If you missed the show last night, take a look who Simon took through to the live shows.

Next time, we think Simon will pop some socks on.
