VIDEO: Donald Trump - Or Should That Be Donald Drumpf?

Published at 1:20pm 1st March 2016.

Should Donald be 'Drumpf' again?

Are you wondering what that means?

Well 'The Last Week Show' has been explaining all.

Presenter John Oliver revealed that one biographer found the Presdiential candidate's ancestor had changed the name from Drumpf to Trump.

Oliver ended the segment by asking the audience and viewers not to vote for Trump, and instead to “make Donald Drumpf again”.

The English comedian even launched the hashtag #MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain.

Sunday's show was dominated by the subject of Donald Trump and his campaign for the White House.

It began with Oliver saying that Trump has “won three states, has been endorsed by Chris Christie and polls see him leading most Super Tuesday states – which is a big deal”.

He continued by saying that he understands why Trump supporters might like him - “he’s unpredictable and entertaining”.

The show then plays a number of Trump’s voters expressing their thoughts on him:

“We like him he tells it like it is”.

“He says what he means, I honestly believe he’s telling the truth”.

“He’s funding his own campaign – nobody owns him”.

“He’s aggressive and he’s strong and he’s bold”.

Oliver then claims that these statements are not quite true, and calls some of Trump's opinions “wildly inconsistent”.

“He’s been pro-choice and pro-life, for and against assault weapon bans, in favour of both bringing in Syrian refugees and deporting them out of the country - and that inconsistency can be troubling”.

The segment shows a number of clips from the man himself, while Oliver describes how Trump has made a brand for himself…

"...he has spent decades turning his own name into a brand, synonymous with success and quality. And he’s made himself the mascot for that brand – like Ronald McDonald…”
