VIDEO: Can This Man Really Read Minds?

Published at 10:19am 2nd March 2016.

A Facebook video has gone viral, with a man claiming that he "can read your mind."

With almost 20 million views and 300,000 shares, surely Lasse Balama must be a magician?

He begins the video claiming he is going to predict your answer to a question. If he can correctly predict your answer, he urges you to share the video.

A series of notes are held up to the screen with basic sums for the viewer to work out before you think of a number between five and twelve.

He then holds a final note revealing the magic number.

Watch the man in action:

I can read your mind!

Some viewers however were not so impressed. One wrote: "I picked 6 then I changed my mind quickly before nothing happened and chose 12 so we can say that I gave him two chances..."

Balama responded with: "That's the problem... you confused me by flipping from one number to another!"

Another viewer reacted: "Am I the only one who thinks that 7 will be the first one to pick since our mind before it was asked to pick has processed mathematical equation leading to 12 minus 2"

So can Balama really read minds? You decide!
