WATCH: iPhone 7 Prank Gone Wrong

Published at 1:30pm 27th September 2016.

A video posted by YouTube user TechRax has been tricking viewers into thinking you can add your own headphone socket to the latest iPhone.

The latest 7 model from Apple is the first that does not have one.

Titled 'Secret Hack To Get Headphone Jack On The iPhone' - little do viewers know that this is a prank.

With over 11 million views - could there be a few who actually believe this?

The video maker says in the video: “I found a perfect solution… it’s a very simple tutorial, just follow along.”

The man begins to drill a hole into the bottom of the phone. He then fits a jack into a phone and begins to play music…

He ends the video by saying “peace out” but there is certainly not peace in the comment section…

User adambsk8 said: “I followed all the steps you said and it won’t even turn back on. Do I gotta update it or download the headphone jack app?”

Ezio Auditore writes: “Are people actually that dumb to drill a hole in their new iPhone 7, I lost all hope in humanity.”

Miranda Gonzalez posted: “I tried this, and now there’s no sound coming out my phone.”

Are these people for real? We hope not.
