WATCH: Student Goes Viral After Posting Fake John Lewis Advert

Published at 3:17pm 7th November 2016.

Nick Jablonka uploaded the video back in June but with all the anticipation of the John Lewis Christmas advert, it seems his video has been mistaken for the real deal.

It has gained more than 400 thousand views and people have fallen in love with this version of a loveable snowman.

Jablonka said: “I uploaded this video with no intention of it becoming so popular.

“This definitely isn't the official John Lewis advert. I wasn't going to upload it at all, the title and the video are as it was submitted so I really didn’t mean for the confusion.

“Although I really appreciate the overwhelming comments, I do believe this piece could do with a lot of work as it was done in around 2 weeks from start to finish.”

He uploaded the video for his Media coursework, which we’re not surprised received full marks - even if it only took him two weeks to create.

Hats off Nick, it seems the world loves it.

One viewer wrote: "Absolutely amazing... it's so sad and yet made me smile too."

While another said: "Now this is real talent. Discovering and watching real talent like this warms my heart. There's hope for the future generation."

But what about the John Lewis advert teaser?

A tweet is doing the rounds from an account ‘Bounce’ which posted a video alongside the hashtag #BounceBounce - could it be?

Social media is going wild trying to figure out if this is the true teaser, take a look at some of the reactions below...
